This blanket was inspired by the paintings of Lee Lozano and was created as part of ‘The Artist Blanket’ by Hauser & Wirth, in support of local heritage and artisan enterprises and in collaboration with ROAM, a small studio based at the heart of the Scottish cashmere and fine woollens industry.

Lee Lozano was a major figure in the New York art scene of the 1960s and early 1970s, making furiously inventive and irreverent small paintings and drawings; vast, abstracted paintings; and conceptual, language based works. The 2018 Fruitmarket exhibition, Slip Slide Splice, brought together work from across Lozano’s career.
