Crocheted vessel made by Dominique Saag
Dominique Saag is an Edinburgh based textile artist with a floral design and fashion background. Saag runs The Unraveling, a handmade homeware line primarily produced with natural materials.
Dominique Saag has responded to Portia Zvavhera’s work. Saag was inspired by the way the artist depicted dreams with textile motifs and set out to find a way to evoke their otherworldly qualities. Saag experimented with eco-resins and has created a technique to suspend her crocheted panels into bowls, cups, and vase holders that look as if they are underwater.
